This is a message for my screenreader using visitors. This very empty looking page has a background image that serves as the same background image for all of the primary pages of this site. Not the blog or content hosted on third-party sites, obviously. Anywho... The picture is of a beach, and because it is assigned to the html and body element, it renders differently for everyone, depending on the browser adn technology they are using.

This message has been styled to be visually invisible, adding another layer of technology altered perspective for viewing.

The complete picture is a beach scene in a big harbor, with a fairly large pier extending out into the water, with several large commercial and industrial buildings at the end of the pier. There are seagulls on the ground and in the air, and there are boats visible out in the deeper waters of whatever ocean that is.
